  • How do I know what class I should take?
    Community rescuers such as teachers, construction workers, office workers, etc, it is recommended to take our Heartsaver classes (First Aid/CPR/AED). Healthcare providers such as doctors, EMTs, dental assistants, etc, are required to take a more advanced CPR certification (BLS/ACLS/PALS). If you are not sure, you can contact us or you can ask your employer what specific level they require.
  • Can I reschedule or cancel my class?
    Cancelation/Rescheduling Policy: If for any reason you cannot attend the scheduled course, please notify us as soon as possible at or 808-440-8988 Note: If you do not notify us prior to the start of class, you will be considered a “No Show” and will not be eligible for a refund or class credit. ***All classes and e-products are non-refundable: NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN ONCE YOU HAVE REGISTERED AND PAID FOR YOUR CLASS. If you need to reschedule your class, please call (808) 440-8988 or e-mail at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled class date Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of your class fee. (Rescheduling is allowed within 3-months of original scheduled class.) All required pre-work (Blended courses online portion) must be completed prior to class. Policies, procedures and pricing are subject to change without notice. All e-products and online courses are non-refundable.
  • Where can I buy a book?
    We offer hard copy and ebooks upon registration as an add-on. If you decide to purchase a book after registering please contact our office to buy.
  • How do I register for classes?

  • Is there an age minimum to take CPR classes?
    No, we welcome all ages to our CPR classes. Just let us know if you plan to bring your child to a class in advance.
  • Do I have to buy a book?
    Yes, per AHA requirements you are required to have the most up to date version, which is the 2020 version.
  • What is an online/classroom class?
    This is a hybrid course where you complete an online portion BEFORE your scheduled in person class date. This significantly cuts down the in-person class time and lets you complete the online portion at your own pace.
  • I did not get an email for my card. Where can I find it?
    Check your junk/spam folder because it has a tendency to go there first. If you are still not able to find this email, please use the following link Enter your exact first name, last name, and email address as you registered in the appropriate fields. Then click search.
  • Where is my keycode for the online course? How do I activate my keycode?
    Your keycode is sent in the confirmation email. It will look like this "" in the body of the email. For detailed instructions on how to find and activate your keycode please follow this link:
  • How do I get my card after class?
    After completing the class, you will receive an email from with the subject line of “Claim your AHA eCard” please follow the instructions on the email. It will be sent to the address that was used to register for the course.
  • I haven't received my confirmation email, where is it?
    Please look in your spam or junk folder first. It will be an email sent from with a subject line of “Your Training Confirmation.” If you still don’t see it you can contact our office at 808-440-8988 for help
  • What's the difference between a renewal class and a Heartcode class?
    A renewal class is for PALS and/or ACLS certified providers or those who are within 30 days after their expiration date. While a Heartcode is for beginners who are not certified and those who are past 30 days after their expiration date
  • Can I take an ACLS/PALS renewal class if I'm expired?
    We understand that things come up. We do allow up to 30 days post expiration to take a renewal course. **Please check your provider to make sure that they will allow you to continue working with an expired card

  • Can I renew my BLS while I'm doing ACLS?
    Yes, there is an add on option for BLS when you register for your ACLS class. This is only available for ACLS Renewal and Heartcode classes, not for PALS classes.
  • Is there parking?
    Classes at our office: Yes! We have tons of free parking at our office location (3239 Ualena St. #201 Honolulu). Classes at the Airport: Please be cautious with parking availability during holidays or high peak travel seasons. Unfortunately, we do not have control over parking costs, rates are based on airport prices- we do not validate parking tickets as well.

  • What if I have physical limitations?
    No worries, let us know before the class and we’ll help to accommodate your needs.
  • What should I wear to the class?
    Please wear loose, comfortable clothing to class. You will be practicing skills that require you to work on your hands and knees, and the course requires bending, standing, and lifting.
